Spotlight Sunday: Meet Alison Jones!

How are you involved in PAC, and how long have you been involved?
I am PAC’s Secretary. While I was the President of Open Music Inspirations and Concepts (OPEN MIC), I met John and learned about his vision for PAC.  I thought it was such an amazing idea, and that it was something that could greatly impact the Penn State Arts community.  I was very interested in being a part of PAC and helping it grow.  After, talking with John and learning more about PAC, I was lucky enough to join the team and it has been an incredible experience.

What other performing arts groups are you involved in on campus?
I have served as a general member, Treasurer and President of Open Music Inspirations and Concepts (OPEN MIC).  I love to sing and have taken piano lessons for 10 years.

What is your favorite thing about PAC?
My favorite thing about PAC is that we can help to inspire collaboration and community among performing arts organizations at Penn State that may not have existed otherwise.

If you had to describe your performing arts experience at Penn State in one word, what would it be?
Magical!

What is your favorite arts experience?
My favorite arts experience at Penn State was having the opportunity to perform in the Universally Sound Music Festival held in the HUB.
