The pennharmonics

Mission:  The Pennharmonics is a co-ed contemporary a cappella group founded in 1993 that seeks to improve the standards of a capella at Penn State University-University Park, further members' musical awareness and understanding, and to expose students and members of the community to a cappella music.

The Pennharmonics are Penn State University's premier co-ed a cappella group and are based out of State College, PA. The Penns, as their fans call them, have been revolutionizing the a cappella community over the last 20 plus years. They have released several studio albums, including Black Cloud Silver Lining, which was released in March of 2014 and was selected for BOCA 2015 and multiple CARA nominations. Known for their dark and edgy style, The Pennharmonics have developed a balance between underground selections and mainstream favorites to create an innovative and unique sound that appeals to all audiences.
